MARK YOUR CALENDAR! Strength of the Saints Relic Tour: June 29th in Denver

The relics of two saints who exemplified courage and conviction in the face of persecution are coming to the Archdiocese of Denver. St. Thomas More and St. John Fisher were prominent 16th century Englishman who stood against King Henry VIII’s attempted supremacy over the Catholic Church, and accepted martyrdom instead of abandoning their faith. This fearless witness is especially compelling to American Catholics today, as we face threats to our religious liberty and right of conscience.Relics of the saints will be available for veneration at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Denver from 9AM-12 NOON & 4:30 – 5:30PM. After the 5:30PM Mass at the Cathedral there will be a presentation about the relics and an opportunity for veneration. The Strength of the Saints Relic Tour is being organized by the Colorado Catholic Conference, and is part of the broader Fortnight for Freedom, a call to fourteen days of prayer, education and action for religious freedom in the United States and abroad.ADDITIONAL RESOURCESSt. Thomas More & St. John FischerPrayer for Religious FreedomWhy We Venerate Relics
